Cuz they suck John Fimburg's dick really hard and cuz Glen Benton is not in Vital Remains anymore?

That sounds more realistic than the whole myspace and albums thing Wink

Who cares, Warbringer sucks BIG ass.

This Neo-thrash resurgency is starting to die off... have't you all noticed? I'm damn happy about it too.

Very Happy

I haven't noticed at all. I've noticed the other way around actually, which sucks because I'm waiting patiently for it to die off.

And yeah, unfortunately people out there have the "no benton, no care" attitude, even though Tony has been doing the band longer than those kids have been alive.

Tony should have thought TWICE before having Benton on the band,, they are back down...

I wish he put out another album in the vein of "Let us Pray" or "Into Cold Darkness" ... that would teach all these 20 year olds.., not like those CRAP albums they've released with Benton and a complete mmusical change, just SAD...

Even if he did something again as FUCKING DARK as "Forever Underground", I'd be a happy camper No no no

There does seem to be a slight tapering off on the hype that every Tom, Dick, and Harry "Nü-Thrash Metal" act gets these days, but it's not a sharp enough decline IMO to say that's doing an early 90's-esqe die-off.

Rather, I like to think that the pointless chaff acts such as Evile, Warbringer (and maybe Municipal Waste) are getting weeded out via the natural process of survival of the fittest!

(Hey, I can hope, can't I?)

Only when I see some of The New Kids on the Thrash Metal Block paying homage to Coroner, Artillery, Destruction, old Kreator, and/or "Killing Technology"-era Voivod will I really give them the time of day.

(Yes, I am old and cranky re: the Thrash Metal. I grew in the late 80's in the Bay Area, okay? Twisted Evil )

Considering that all three of those are on big labels and have been touring their asses off lately, I'd say you're going to be hoping for a long time. I fail to see how any of those three are being "weeded out."
