The forthcoming Debut Death Metal album from the band from Scotland.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From the first song to the last, this album from Coffin Mulch<\/a><\/strong> holds its own in any part of the world. Driving rhythm’s, and heavy riffs. Head banging type of music. This album feels like a its part of the family of great metal albums already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening title song Spectral Intercession sets the tone for the entire album. An introduction for me to a band that commanded respect. A driving force of a song that just kept building upon itself. Dominant vocals, Intense guitar work, backed by crashing drums. Instant mosh pit type of song. This is the song you hear for the first time and tell yourself, oh Hell yeah! Who is this?!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first song built up an anticipation, I wasn’t disappointed in the second. Into the Blood<\/strong> was a relentless heavy march of a song. The sound of debauchery. Mixed with the sound of heavy dark guitars that would make Tony Iommi<\/strong> proud. The first song was no fluke. This band is legitimate. Every song on the album is solid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the album for me was the song titled, Gateway to the Unseen<\/strong>. Menacing riff throughout the song. The kind of song that will destroy any building its played in. A show stopper. I dare say, it would bring a sense of the Brotherhood of Metal <\/strong>looking around any arena its played in. A type of song you can put on repeat for an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sound<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As in every great metal band, it comes down to the guitarist and I like the gritty distortion, it sets a mood. There is also a great mix of tempos throughout this album. Each song is its own journey, I consider the compositions of these songs at a level of seasoned veterans. Its easy to see this band becoming a staple in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mulch is used to enrich the soil, I’m guessing mixed with the Coffin aspect, it’s music to enrich the soul. Definitely a therapeutic album when played at full volume. Sorry neighbors Coffin Mulch needs to be heard! Great Debut Album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
